Person Injured in El Paso Train Crash on Piedras and Elm Streets
El Paso, Texas (November 23, 2018) – A train struck and injured and pedestrian on Thursday afternoon in the Five-Points neighborhood, according to the El Paso Police.
The incident was reported at around 1:11 p.m. November 22 at Piedras and Elm streets.
It’s unclear what the pedestrian was doing on the tracks when the accident happened.
Police said the victim was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
Police are investigating the incident.
