Possible Injuries Reported after Interstate 20 Crash near Merkel
Merkel, Texas (November 22, 2018) – Possible injuries were reported Wednesday near Merkel following a traffic accident involving two 18-wheelers, according to a local news source.
The accident happened on westbound Interstate 20 at mile marker 270 near FM 1235.
Details are extremely limited, and it’s unknown what caused the crash. But one of the vehicles involved, a moving truck split wide open as a result of the collision.
Possible injuries have been reported.
Motorists were diverted onto the service road.
