Irving, TX – Two people were killed early Monday morning in a wrong-way collision in Irving near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, according to the police.
The fatal collision occurred around 2:49 a.m. on July 14, 2025, on State Highway 114 near Esters Road.
Police said a vehicle was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the highway when it collided head-on with another car.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the victims have not been released.
The collision closed all eastbound lanes of SH 114, and traffic was diverted to Freeport Parkway.
The collision remains under investigation.
