Pedestrian fatally struck by car on Menchaca Road near Kaiser Drive in Austin
Austin, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Wednesday night in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident happened around 9:48 p.m. in the 11100 block of Menchaca Road near Kaiser Drive.
A bicyclist was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The name of the pedestrian was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
