Anthony Vega Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 349 in Midland County

Anthony Vega ID’d as Man Killed in Midland County Car Accident at Highway 349 and County Road 60
Midland County, Texas (November 13, 2018) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the 30-year-old man who was killed in a traffic accident Monday morning in Midland County as Anthony Vega, of Midland.
The horrific crash was reported to troopers at about 3:20 a.m. Monday, November 12 at the intersection of Highway 349 and County Road 60, about 10 miles northwest of Midland.
According to the DPS, a Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Hanoi Abreu-Herrera, ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a semi-truck.
Vega, who was a passenger in the Jetta, was declared dead at the scene. He was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
