Tony Bumgardner ID’d as Man Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on I-35E near Mockingbird Lane
Dallas, Texas (November 10, 2018) – The man who was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on a freeway in the Stemmons Corridor of Dallas has been identified as Tony Bumgardner, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.
The deadly accident took place just after 7:00 p.m. November 8, on Interstate 35E near Mockingbird Lane.
Authorities said Bumgardner was attempting to cross the southbound Interstate 35E when a vehicle struck him in the center lane. The vehicle then fled the scene after the accident.
Officials said a witness described the vehicle as a red Chevrolet Tahoe with extensive damage to its front.
