Four Injured in Hurst Train Accident near Trinity Boulevard and Precinct Line Road
Hurst, Texas (November 8, 2018) – Four people were injured Wednesday morning in a train crash near an intersection in Hurst, a local news source reported.
The crash happened shortly after 8:00 a.m. November 7, near the intersection of Trinity Boulevard and Precinct Line Road, near the Richland Hills TRE station.
As per the report, a big rig got stuck on the train tracks and was struck by the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) train.
Four people in the train suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The big rig driver was uninjured in the crash.
The accident snarled commuter service in the area. Some passengers were put on shuttle buses between the Richland Hills and Bell TRE stations.
An investigation is underway.
