Doyle Garrett Injured in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on East 42nd Street

Odessa, Texas (November 5, 2018) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Odessa, according to the authorities.
The crash occurred at around 5:41 p.m. November 4, in the 1107 block of East 42nd Street.
Police said Doyle Wayne Garrett II, 59, of Odessa had just exited the Lowe’s Supermarket and as he attempted to cross the parking lot westbound, he was hit by an eastbound gray 2016 Dodge Ram.
Garrett sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Dodge, Jaime Martinez, 42, of Odessa, was unhurt.
The crash is under investigation.
