Tyree Bowen ID’d as Passenger Killed in San Antonio Car Crash at O’Connor and Nacogdoches Roads
San Antonio, Texas (November 1, 2018) – The passenger who was killed Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident which left another person hospitalized at an intersection in San Antonio has been identified as Tyree James Bowen, 36, according to the authorities.
The fatal crash was reported at an unspecified time, October 30, at the intersection of O’Connor Road and Nacogdoches Road.
According to a preliminary report, a flatbed tractor-trailer was traveling on O’Connor Road, and it slowed to turn left into a business. An SUV behind the truck switched lanes to avoid it, and a Dodge car behind the SUV rear-ended the trailer.
Bowen, who was a passenger in the Dodge, was killed in the crash. The Dodge driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
