Beaumont, TX. – A child was struck and injured by a vehicle in Beaumont on Sunday afternoon, according to the Beaumont Police Department.
The incident took place in the 1100 block of Oregon Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. on April 27.
Police reported that a 6-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in front of the Windchase Apartments.
The victim was transported by ambulance to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital, then later airlifted to a Houston hospital.
There was no update on the condition of the pedestrian.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
