Houston, TX. – A woman died after being struck by a car on Saturday morning in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 11700 block of Kewalo Basin Lane.
A woman was struck by a white GMC pickup truck that was turning from Iron Springs Drive onto Kewalo Basin Lane.
The woman was taken to HCA Clear Lake Hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
The pickup truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Additional information about the accident was not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
