Deputy Melissa Pollard was driving a car when she crashed into the rear of an 18-wheeler that was making a left-hand turn
Wood County, TX. – Melissa Pollard has been identified as the Wood County Sheriff’s Deputy who was killed in a collision on Wednesday.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at the intersection of FM 14 and State Highway 37-S.
Deputy Melissa Pollard was driving a car when she crashed into the rear of an 18-wheeler that was making a left-hand turn.
Pollard was taken to an area hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
The semi-truck driver was unhurt.
