Man Killed in South Lamar Boulevard Pedestrian Crash in Austin

Austin, Texas (October 20, 2018) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning in Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The fatal accident occurred just after 2:20 a.m. Friday, October 19, on South Lamar Boulevard near Bluebonnet Lane.
It’s unclear how the pedestrian was hit.
Neither the pedestrian killed nor the driver involved was immediately identified. The driver remained at the scene and waited or the police.
The authorities are working to find out the circumstances that led to the accident.
