Person Killed in Carrollton Pedestrian Accident on West Belt Line Road

Carrollton, Texas (October 16, 2018) – A driver fled the scene after hitting and killing a pedestrian early Tuesday morning in Carrollton, according to the authorities.
The crash occurred in the 1000 block of West Belt Line Road near DART Park at around 2:23 a.m.
Emergency crews responded to the incident and found the victim’s body lying in the roadway.
There was no description of the vehicle involved in the accident.
Police are conducting an investigation into the hit-and-run.
