Liberty County, Texas – Several people were hospitalized Friday afternoon following multi-vehicle traffic collision involving two 18-wheelers in Liberty County, according to the Cleveland Fire Department (CFD)
Authorities say the collision happened before 12:00 p.m. on December 6 on Highway 321 near Country Road 2243
CFD officials said the two pickup trucks and two 18-wheelers were involved in the incident. The 18- carrying were carrying hazardous materials at the time of the collision.
Reportedly,two people were airlifted by HCA Air Life to the hospital. Other patients were taken by ambulance.
The number of people injured was not immediately established.
The incident remains under investigation.
