Woman Hospitalized after Denton Pedestrian Crash at East Hickory and Austin Streets

Denton, Texas (October 14, 2018) – A woman was injured in an auto-pedestrian accident involving a suspected DUI driver early Saturday morning in Denton.
According to a police report, the accident occurred just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, October 13 at the intersection of East Hickory and Austin streets.
Police said a 41-year-old woman was trying to cross East Hickory Street when she was hit by a Ford F-150.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford, Ismael Meza, 26, was taken into custody on charges intoxication assault.
