Pedestrian Struck, Critically Injured by Vehicle on East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth

Woman Critically Injured in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on East Lancaster Avenue
Fort Worth, Texas (October 11, 2018) – A pedestrian was struck and critically injured by a vehicle Wednesday morning near the Union Gospel Mission on Lancaster Avenue east of downtown, authorities said.
The crash was reported shortly before 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10 in the 1300 block of East Lancaster Avenue.
Police said for an unknown reason the woman was struck by a gray Honda Civic in front of Union Gospel Mission.
The driver of the Honda stopped at the scene and complied with the authorities during the investigation.
The woman was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the crash. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
