Guillermo Rivera Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Rushing in El Paso, Oct. 9

Guillermo Rivera ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in El Paso Accident on Rushing
El Paso, Texas (October 11, 2018) – The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night in Northeast El Paso has been identified as Guillermo Rivera, 76, according to a statement released by El Paso police.
The fatal accident took place at about 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9 in the 10700 block of Rushing.
Authorities said a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Sylvia Berge, 57, was heading northbound on rushing when it struck Rivera, who was crossing in an unlit area while wearing dark clothing.
Rivera died at the crash site.
The crash remains under investigation.
