Man Hospitalized after Corpus Christi Pedestrian Crash at Baldwin Boulevard and Riggan Street

Corpus Christi, Texas (October 8, 2018) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck in a crash involving two hit-and-run drivers on Sunday night in Corpus Christi.
According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, the crash was reported at around 10 p.m. October 7 at Baldwin Boulevard and Riggan Street.
Police said a Ford and a Chevrolet were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles hit the pedestrian and at least one of them knocked down a power pole.
Both drivers reportedly got out of their vehicles after the incident and fled the scene. One of them was later located and taken into custody.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The crash is under investigation.
