Metropolitan Transit Authority Train Hits and Kills Pedestrian on Fulton Street in Houston
Houston, Texas (October 4, 2018) – A person was struck and killed by a Metropolitan Transit Authority train on Thursday morning in north Houston.
According to the authorities, the crash happened just before 10 a.m. on Fulton Street near Weisenberger Street.
The authorities said the man was standing in a grassy area on the median looking at an oncoming northbound train. The man reportedly did not see another oncoming southbound train and as he stepped onto the tracks, he was hit by the train.
The man was killed in the crash.
No one on the train was injured.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
