Mark Andrade Killed in Weslaco Pedestrian Accident on FM 1015 near Mile 11 North Road
Weslaco, Texas (September 27, 2018) – A person was killed Tuesday night in an auto-pedestrian accident north of Weslaco, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly accident occurred at about 10:20 p.m. September 25, on FM 1015, just north of Mile 11 North Road.
According to a preliminary investigation, Mark Anthony Andrade, 29, of San Benito was riding a Black 2006 Suzuki Colt Motorcycle southbound on the innermost lane of FM 1015 north of Rosa Street, when for an unknown reason he fell onto the roadway.
Andrade was then struck by a Black southbound 2005 Dodge pickup truck.
Andrade was declared dead at the scene.
The Dodge driver was taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary reasons.
The Texas DPS Troopers are investigating the crash.
