Ramon Pesina ID’d as Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 71
Austin, Texas (September 18, 2018) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Austin last Tuesday night has been identified as Ramon Javier Pesina, 46, according to the Austin Police.
The crash took place in the 1800 block of East State Highway 71 westbound at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11.
The police Pesina Said was trying to cross the road when he was struck by a red 2018 Dodge Durango.
Pesina was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Durango reportedly remained at the scene of the crash.
The Austin Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
