Tyler, Texas — One driver was killed and another injured after two vehicles collided at an intersection in Tyler on Friday, according to a police report.

According to Smith County Emergency Service District 2, a Jeep and an SUV collided and the impact caused the Jeep to overturn.
The driver of the Jeep was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.
The SUV driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash impacted the northbound lanes of Jacksonville Highway as fire crews worked at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
