Robertson County, TX – One person was killed and two others were seriously injured early Wednesday morning following a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Robertson County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The fatal accident happened around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, between Benchley and Hearne on FM 2549.
According to the DPS, a Chevrolet truck was heading westbound near McCarver Lane when an eastbound Ford Mustang drove on the wrong side of the road and struck the Chevrolet head-on.
A male passenger in the Mustang sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Mustang driver and a backseat passenger were hospitalized with serious injuries, according to the DPS.
No additional details regarding the incident were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
