1 Killed, 5 Injured After Car Crashes into Home on Elm Street in Graham

Graham, Texas – One person was killed and five others were injured after a reckless driver crashed into a home on Saturday in Graham, according to the Graham Police Department.

The deadly crash was reported around 5:00 p.m., June 8, at a residential home on Elm Street.

Police said officers tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver sped up, lost control, and sideswiped another vehicle before crashing into the residential home.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Five people in the home were taken to Harris Methodist Hospital for treatment. One of the victims had trauma to the head and face and was likely to be transported to a trauma center for further treatment.

The City of Graham Police Department is investigating the crash.
