1 Killed in Bicycle Accident on North Timberland at Homewood Drives in Lufkin

Lufkin, Texas – One person was killed Friday night in a bicycle accident in Lufkin, according to the Lufkin Police Department.

The deadly accident happened on June 7, on North Timberland Drive at Homewood Drive.

Police said a vehicle struck a man who was on a bicycle.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the northbound lanes for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
