Cheryl Templeton Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Pine Tree Road in Longview
Longview, Texas – The woman who was killed earlier this month in a pedestrian accident in Longview has been identified as 60-year-old Cheryl Renae Templeton, according to the Longview Police Department.
The deadly accident happened just before 9:00 p.m., May 1, in the 900 block of Pine Tree Road.
Police said Templeton was walking westbound when she failed to yield the right of way to a pickup truck that was traveling northbound in the inside lane and was struck. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.
The police are investigating the crash.
