Daughter Killed, Harold Marin, Shawnkeedra Martin and Toddler Hospitalized after Fairview Crash on Highway 75 near Highway 121
Fairview, Texas (September 5, 2018) – Shawnkeedra Martin, a Dallas County prosecutor, her husband, Harold Martin, and a toddler were hospitalized Monday afternoon after a traffic collision which also killed their 10-year-old daughter in Fairview, according to a local news source.
The fatal accident took place at about 1:30 p.m. September 3, on Highway 75, just south of Highway 121.
According to the police, an 18-wheeler had slowed down due to an earlier crash when it was rear-ended by a Cadillac SUV carrying the four family members.
A 10-year-old girl was killed in the crash. Shawnkeedra, Harold, who is an investigator with the DA’s office, and their 3-month-old daughter were seriously injured in the crash and were taken to Plano Medical Center.
Shawnkeedra is one of the prosecutors who worked the Roy Oliver murder trial.
The crash remains under investigation.
