Man Killed in Desoto Pedestrian Accident on Interstate-35, near Parkerville Road
Desoto, Texas (September 1, 2018) – A motorcyclist who survived a single-vehicle crash was struck and killed by a passing vehicle Friday morning in Desoto, a local news source reported.
The deadly accident happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. August 31 on Interstate 35, near Parkerville Road.
According to DeSoto police, a man was riding a motorcycle with a group of other riders when he lost control and was ejected from his bike.
He was attempting to move out the traffic lanes when an SUV struck him.
The motorcyclist was killed in the crash. The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The accident closed the southbound lanes of I-35 as police investigated.
The crash remains under investigation.
