Two Men Dead After Car Slams into Tree on Bissonnet Street

Houston, California (March 1, 2017) – Two men were killed early Sunday morning after their car crashed into a tree in southwest Harris County.
The accident took just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27 when a vehicle crashed into a tree on Bissonnet near Eldridge Parkway.
As per a police report, two men in their late teens or early 20s were onboard the vehicle at the time the accident. One of them as pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken by LifeFlight to a hospital where he died shortly after arriving.
Police say speed may have been a factor in the crash.
All lanes of Bissonnet Street at Beringswood were closed as deputies investigated the incident.
Information regarding the identities of the victims has not yet been confirmed.
The incident remained under investigation.
