Hood County, Texas (August 29, 2018) – An off-duty firefighter died in a two-vehicle collision in Hood County on Monday, according to the authorities.
The incident happened on Highway 377 west of Cresson on Monday, August 27.
According to the news source, Charles Andrew Heimer, 42, a Fort Worth firefighter, was involved in a head-on crash with a pickup truck near Rock Crusher Hill.
