Samantha Swanson ID’d as Woman Killed in Beaumont Crash at Florida Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway
Beaumont, Texas (August 29, 2018) – The woman who was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle collision in Beaumont has been identified as Samantha Swanson, 44, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Monday, August 27 at the intersection of Florida Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.
According to the reports, a Ford Sports Trac was traveling on MLK when it tried to turn onto Florida Avenue.
The Ford then failed to yield the right of way to an approaching Ford F-150, resulting in a broadside crash.
Swanson suffered critical injuries and was taken by EMS to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. It was not clear which vehicle she was in.
The crash remains under investigation by the police.
