Christopher Creed ID’d as Man Killed in Whitesboro Crash on Highway 82 near County Road 179
Whitesboro, Texas (August 29, 2018) – The identity of the man who was killed Tuesday morning in a crash involving a Whitesboro ISD school bus in Whitesboro near the Grayson/Cooke county line has been disclosed, according to the troopers.
The victim has been identified as Christopher Creed, 47.
The crash took place at about 7:15 a.m. August 28, on East US Highway 82 near County Road 179.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said Creed was driving a Chevrolet Impala when he rear-ended the school bus that had stopped for pick up. The bus had its red lights activated at the time of the crash.
Creed was killed in the crash.
No kids in the bus were injured.
The crash closed the highway for several hours.
An investigation is ongoing.
