4-Year-Old Seriously Hurt in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Clovis Road
Lubbock, Texas (August 28, 2018) – A child was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident in Lubbock, according to the police.
The accident was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. August 27, in the 2100 block of Clovis Road, near the La Super Carniceria Meat Market.
Lubbock police said a car and a semi-truck collided for unknown reasons.
A 4-year-old child, who was a passenger in the car, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital by an ambulance.
The crash blocked all eastbound lanes of Clovis Road between Auburn Street and North Vernon Avenue.
People were told to avoid the area.
The LPD is conducting the investigation.
