35-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Westpark Drive

Houston, Texas – A 35-year-old woman was killed early Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:35 a.m., March 17, in the 6300 block of Westpark Drive.

Police said the woman was driving a white Honda Accord eastbound when she failed to yield the right of way while attempting to make a left turn into a private drive and collided with a westbound red Infiniti Q60. A westbound white BMW M2 was unable to avoid the crash and struck the Infiniti, which then hit a light pole.

The woman and the Infiniti driver were taken to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where the woman later died. Her name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, bicycle, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A.
