Child Killed, Several Hurt in Rollover Crash on Loop 820 in Fort Worth
Fort Worth, Texas (August 26, 2018) – A 5-year-old child was killed and several others hospitalized following a rollover crash on Sunday afternoon in Fort Worth, according to the authorities.
The crash occurred at around 1:20 p.m. in the 4700 block of Loop 820.
Police said a Honda Civic was broadsided by an SUV at the intersection, and the impact caused the SUV to flip onto its side. The Honda then crashed into a trailer after the first collision.
A child was rushed to Cook Children’s Medical Center for treatment but succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The identity of the child was not immediately released.
Seven other people were transported to hospitals, and one of them was said to be in critical condition.
The crash remained under investigation.
