Sara Davy Killed, Loren Davy, Angela Simonton and 3 Injured in Monahans Crash on West Business I-20
Monahans, Texas (August 25, 2018) – One person was killed and five others were injured Friday night in a two-vehicle collision in Monahans, police said.
The deadly accident was reported at about 10:00 p.m. Friday, August 24 in the 2600 block of West Business I-20.
Details of how the crash occurred were not available, but one of the two vehicles caught fire after the impact.
Sara Davy, 36, Loren Davy, 51, Angela Simonton, 34, and Michael Walker, 25, were taken to the Ward Memorial Emergency Room where Sara succumbed to her injuries.
Natasha McHenry, 36, was airlifted to U.M.C. in Lubbock while Christopher Simonton, 36, was flown to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
According to reports, Goupil has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
