3 Hospitalized after McGregor Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 317 at South Loop
McGregor, Texas (August 23, 2018) – Three people were hospitalized Wednesday morning after a traffic collision at a highway in McGregor, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred shortly before noon August 22, on southbound State Highway 317 at South Loop.
According to the authorities, a car and a work truck were traveling southbound at the highway when the car driver started making a U-turn, resulting in a collision.
The force of the impact sent the truck through a fence.
The female driver of the car had to be extricated from the wreckage by the McGregor firefighters.
The woman and two other people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The southbound traffic was diverted.
An investigation is ongoing.
