Woman Injured in Austin Pedestrian Crash on Clayton Lane

Austin, Texas (August 18, 2018) – A woman was struck and critically injured by a vehicle on Friday night in Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The incident happened in the 800 block of Clayton Lane shortly before midnight on Friday, August 17.
Medics said the victim, a woman in her 30’s., was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Her identity was not immediately released.
It’s unclear how the pedestrian was struck.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
