Child Killed in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on Dwayne Street
Odessa, Texas (August 15, 2018) – A 20-month-old boy was struck and killed by a car Tuesday evening at a private property in Odessa, according to the police.
The deadly accident took place August 14, in the 1000 block of Dwayne Street.
Police said Marcelo Olivas, 17, was driving a black Ford F-150 truck on private property along Dwayne Street when the boy ran out in front of the vehicle and was hit by it.
The boy was taken to Medical Center Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police are conducting the investigation.
