6 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-35 in South Austin
Austin, Texas (August 11, 2018) – Several people were injured in a crash involving multiple vehicles on Friday afternoon in south Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The wreck occurred in the 4700 block of I-35 South near Texas 71.
Medics said the impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.
A girl sustained serious injuries while two boys had injuries that were potentially serious. The three were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center.
Two women were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center and St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
