Person Killed in NW Austin Pedestrian Crash on W Parmer Lane

Austin, Texas (July 23, 2018) – A person was hit and killed by a vehicle in northwest Austin on Monday morning, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The crash occurred at around 6:30 a.m. in the 5700 block of W. Parmer Lane.
Police said a man in his 40s was struck by a vehicle whose driver failed to stop after the incident.
The victim’s body was discovered by a bicyclist passing by.
Police did not release the identity of the victim pending notification of the next of kin.
The accident is under investigation.
