William Drewes and Lacy Drewes Injured in Fatal Greenwood Crash on SCR 1050 and FM 307

Greenwood, Texas (July 17, 2018) – One person was killed and two others injured in a crash between two vehicles at a Greenwood intersection late Thursday night, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash happened at FM 307 and SCR 1050 at about 11:50 p.m. July 12.
DPS said Cody M. Kuykendall, 25, was driving southbound on SCR 1050 when he failed to stop for a stop sign and crashed into a vehicle driven westbound on FM 307 by William M. Drewes, 59.
According to the DPS, Kuykendall died at the scene of the crash.
Drewes was traveling with Lacy N. Drewes, 25, as his passenger at the time. Both suffered incapacitating injuries and were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
