Man Dies in NW Harris County Pedestrian Crash at West Road and Easton Commons Drive

Harris County, Texas (July 15, 2018) – A man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver early Sunday morning in Northwest Harris County, according to the deputies.
The fatal crash took place in the 15000 block of West Road and Easton Commons Drive.
The pedestrian died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene but returned shortly after and admitted to having hit the victim.
The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
