Dallas, Texas (July 15, 2018) – A man was killed in an early morning hit-and-run crash on Saturday in Dallas.
According to the authorities, the accident took place at about 2:50 a.m. July 14, on I-35E near Market Center.
The authorities said a Jeep and a Chrysler 300 collided in the northbound side of I-35E and both drivers pulled to the right lane.
Both drivers got out of their vehicles and as they were exchanging information, an oncoming Honda side-swiped the Jeep.
The driver of the Honda then stopped a short distance from the scene and went to speak with the drivers of the other vehicles and took photos of the crash.
As the Honda driver went back to his vehicle, he was hit by a passing vehicle, and the impact threw him into the parked vehicles.
That driver failed to stop at the scene after striking the victim.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the hit-and-run driver, whose vehicle was described as a dark-colored small car or SUV.
