Woman Injured in Harris County Car Crash on Veterans Memorial Drive

Harris County, Texas (July 10, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized after being involved in a crash with an 18-wheeler on Monday night in Northwest Harris County, according to the deputies.
The crash occurred at around 11:45 p.m. July 9, on Veterans Memorial Drive near TC Jester Boulevard.
Deputies said the woman was driving a car on Veterans Memorial when she crashed into the rear of an 18-wheeler that was stopped for a red light at the intersection.
The emergency crews responded to the crash and pulled the woman out of her vehicle. The woman was then transported to a hospital with severe injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
