Gabriela Estrada and Baby Killed in Juarez Crash on Boulevard Manuel Gomez Morin

Juarez, Texas (July 6, 2018) – An El Paso woman and her 4-month-old baby were killed in a traffic accident in Juarez Tuesday morning, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened on Tuesday, July 3 on Boulevard Manuel Gomez Morin.
Authorities said an alleged drunken motorist ran a red light and slammed into a car.
Gabriela Estrada who was in the car died at the scene. The baby was taken to a hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries on Wednesday.
The baby’s father was transported to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Three other children inside the car were expected to be okay.
The alleged drunken driver was identified as Davila Escobedo. He was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
The crash remains under investigation.
