Crystal Hastings ID’d as Woman Killed in Longview Pedestrian Crash on West Loop 281

Longview, Texas (July 3, 2018) – The woman who was struck and killed by vehicles on Saturday morning in Longview has been identified by the police as Crystal Hastings, 38, of Gilmer.
According to the Longview Police Department, the accident was reported at around 5:11 a.m. June 30 on West Loop 281 near Birdsong Street.
Police said Hastings was walking in the roadway when she was struck by a truck and another vehicle.
Hastings was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Longview Police Department is working to determine the cause of the crash.
