One Person Killed in Dallas Car Accident on Garland Road and Lunar Drive

Dallas, Texas (June 29, 2018) – One person was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a suspected drunk driver on Thursday night in Casa Linds, according to police.
The crash occurred at about 9 p.m. June 28, at the intersection of Garland Road and Lunar Drive.
Police said a gray 2012 Mazda 6 failed to yield while making a left turn from southbound Garland Road onto Lunar Drive and was struck on its side by a northbound 1996 Jeep Cherokee.
One passenger in the Mazda was killed in the accident. The driver and a second passenger were hospitalized at Baylor Hospital with minor injuries.
A preliminary investigation determined that the driver of the Mazda was under the influence of an intoxicating substance at the time of the crash.
The crash remained under investigation.
