Jesse Gregg Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 87 in Orange County
Orange County, Texas (June 28, 2018) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Orange County, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash took place at about 4:45 a.m. June 27, on Highway 87 near Highway 62.
DPS said Jesse Darrel Gregg, 58, of Orange, was walking in the northbound lanes of the highway when he was struck by a pickup truck driven by a 64-year-old Vidor man.
Gregg was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The police are working to find out the cause of the accident.
